Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc. - NSP-2 Application Overview

Comments accepted through July 11.

Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc., lead applicant in a consortium including the nonprofits St. Ambrose Housing Aid Center, Druid Heights Community Development Corporation, Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, and the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development, and in partnership with the for-profit entity, Telesis Baltimore Corporation,  has released a draft application overview that identifies the strategies and activities it proposes for the use of $26,092,880 in Federal Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2 (NSP-2) funds. 

Questions and comments concerning the draft NSP-2 application should be directed to Erica Pitkow, Program Assistant, Healthy Neighborhoods, Inc., 2 E. Read Street, Baltimore, MD 21202, epitkow@healthyneighborhoods.org.  Written comments on the draft will be accepted through July 11, 2009. A summary of written comments and responses will be included in the final version of the NSP-2 application. Following the public comment period the NSP-2 application will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) by July 14, 2009 for review.
