Our Grants

BNC issues periodic requests for proposals by invitation only. This means that we contact potential grantees and ask them to apply, rather than accept unsolicited applications.

BNC's current areas of focus for grant-making are neighborhood revitalization, transit-centered community development, and nonprofit capacity building. In addition, other grants are administered by BNC on behalf of the Baltimore Homeownership Preservation Coalition.

Each year BNC staff and members review these areas of focus to determine how best to catalyze and sustain Baltimore City neighborhoods.
